I am going to an oral surgeon tomorrow. If my wife is told she has to sign anything to get information about my health, is that a HIPPA violation? I believe I have read it is, but I cannot find it. Thanks
Might not be. I had surgery a couple years ago and I had to sign a form that allowed the dr to discuss my surgey/condition/etc with DH. But he had to sign a form as well, it was just stating he understands it is confidential info.
