ok i broke my hand last year and i went to a walk in. apparently my insurance company rejected the claim. due to the nature they just need to talk to me to make sure its not workers comp, etc.i shouldnt have a problem getting them to pay but the clinic sent it to a collection agency not even realizing the insurance company didnt pay. i called the clinic and they sold the debt to the CA so i have to work whatever out with them. I tried calling someone at the CA but got on hold and bounced around. Now they never sent me anything in the mail to validate the debt or anything. 4 seperate charges for the one visit showed up on my credit report so it shows me with 4 negs and 4 collection accounts all between 100-150. What do i do first? do i dispute with the credit bureas, ask the ca for validation. i have insurance and it was a legit claim, i was just going to tell the ca to send me a letter stating they will delete the info upon payment and then work with the insurance company. should i call the insurance company first to make sure they will pay the CA before engaging in any contact that would admit the debt? i only gave the ca my name and told them i didnt know what it was about cause all it said was medical on my credit report and i have insurance. I thought i would post here before i talk to anyone else or make a real move
