Well it seems that I was successful at getting set-up with NFCU. I am the widow of an Army Veteran and we are retired. Anyway, how long until I can login at their website to apply for credit? Anyone know how to do that? I was hoping to apply today before my credit reports updated and the utilization went up. I will still be holding at around 30% instead of 18% though. Hopefully that will be good enough.
What's the probability of approval?

Thanks for the information!
I just joined NFCU this last week, it took a bit because they needed me to provide identification documents (Driver license and SS Card). 10 ish days from original phone to join and getting on-line access, though I may have been able to get in quicker since I didn't know everything was done until I started getting ATM cards, Pin numbers, welcome kits in the mail... Had I called and checked I'm sure I would have been able to get into on-line the day they started mailing me stuff.
I had 30% Utilization, same income range, AAoA 2 years, 4 inq (They then added 3...), one paid collection and you can see in my sig what the visa and navCheck they approved me for... So I'd say you have pretty good chances.
When I called after all the documents started coming in the mail the CSR I spoke with got me setup on-line and was over joyed that I was interested in credit products and took my applications right over the phone. She even called the underwriting department to figure out why my navCheck wasn't instal approval, they requested proof of income I faxed it in and she followed up an hour later letting me know it was all approved and then I got the email and text saying it was approved too.
However with all this credit stuff your experience may vary!
