First some background. Approximately 3 years ago I allowed my GEMB Care Credit account to fall behind and ended up with a judgment. The day I was served papers I contacted the representing attorney and settled the account. I thought the judgment would not be filed and all was good. Several years have passed and never heard anything about it and recently the judgment showed up on my credit report. I have contacted the court which informed me that a default judgment was issued but does reflect being settled. I have attempted twice to have it removed from the CRA using WhyChat's judgment removal letter without success. Any help in getting this off my report is appreciated.
Did you get any paperwork regarding your settlement?

Yes, I am fairly sure I have a paper from the attorney stating the account was settled.
