I pulled my credit report yesterday and found this: CREDCO/One Technologies. At first, I thought it was one company but Credco is in Poway CA and One Technologies is in Dallas Texas. What are these organizations and why would they have permission to look at my credit report?
Credco is usually a third party service used by other companies to pull for them when they don't have their own subscription.

I've had auto financing inquiries show up as Credco. Not sure about the other one.

I found the same inquiry on my credit report dated Feb 23, 2012. Listed immediately following was another strange one TRUECREDIT/MYHEALTHCREDIT. "No pho number available" I am 85 years old and have NO interest in any credit or purchase of any thing. I placed a freeze on my reports five years ago. How good is that. Someone is lazy in the credit reporting industry. PLUS, I never requested the Experian report I just received nor did I ask Transunion for one, even though they state "We cannot find any file on you". WHO is fooling around with credit reports?

Fine print on credit reporting companies states "IF you do not recognize the inquirer, it is because they have no subscription for the reporting service and use another firm's account". I find this deceitful and blame the three reporting firms to be helping these people hide their name for probably unsavory reasons. My resources tell me these are auto, RV, boat and recreational companies. I want none of these at 90 years old and think there is a scam about to happen. NO, I did not search any of these items on the 'net.

I checked my credit report just a few minutes and I noticed the above company had an inquiry on my credit report. One hour before ,I had received a call stating my payday loan was approved. I have been retired since 2005, I don\'t even have a job, why would I apply for a payday loan when I do not even have a payday. They need to stop trying to scam old people, all of us are not senile or at the stupid age.

I just found an alert about this company and called my credit report people. They said that if I had recently needed to get into a bank account or something that asks you to verify your identity, because you forgot your password, it will activate this alert from this company. I had done that. I am going to keep an eye on my credit report for any further activity just in case.

Who are you???? We just pulled our credit report & see where they Credco/onetechnogies had an inquiry... never heard of them, someone should put a stop to them when you never signed anything allowing them to pull a person's credit history.
