I dispute "Not Mine" and the CA changes DOLA to 6

Now I dont know if this is a CA or an OC, the card was an Aspire Prime Option. They haven't responded to a validation RQ and keep varifying. New Information CB&T , XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Date Opened 04-1996 Bad Debt; placed for collection; skip $0 N/A Last Updated 07-2004 Account Closed by Consumer, Charge off account Previous Information CB&T , XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Date Opened 04-1996 Bad Debt; placed for collection; skip $0 N/A Last Updated 07-2004 Account Closed by Consumer, Charge off account
It will fall off October 1st of this year if you do nothing. I would dispute it now as "Account is obsolete and being illegally re-aged by data furnisher." I figure it a good chance to get deleted a little early since its only 60+/- days until times up.

Looks like an OC to me just the way the TL is listed. So a validation letter wouldn't work anyway do to O/Cs aren't really bound by the FDCPA. How long has it been since you sent the letter?

Tried that last month and this was the result! I talked to EQ about it the month before and they said it wont come off till like 3/05 if I remember right. I sent it back in May
