What lenders are good for this? I'm currently waiting on my welcome packet from DCU to see what their policies are. Even with some lenders I've used they wouldn't even do it from a used car lot, it had to be free a major new car deal though used cars from there are fine. The vehicle I am wanting is right at the max of my price range and want to investigate going private party but need a way to finance it first. Thoughts?
I financed years ago thru USAA, to buy from a private party. They had a loan on the vehicle - USAA handled everything. Was easy on my end, I just had to give them the vehicle information and they contacted the original lien holder.
