I was thinking of going into our local Chevy dealership and applying for a new car using there financing. Never purchased a new vehicle before. I know nobody can say for certain but some questions I have...
1) If my scores aren't the greatest will they pull multiple inquires with different companies?
2) Say they apply to one place do they typically pull all 3 reports for one place? Or just one report for each place?
I just don't want to have 20 new inquires all over my reports after cleaning them all off.
My Ficos are EX 744, EQ 640, TU 635. One Charge off that is 3 years old. I wish there was a way to pre qualify at the dealer before all the inqs and get them to pull only EX
The dealer will probably pull all three bureaus.
And
Then try and place the loan with the lender who will pull the most reflective bureau.

From my understanding whether it be one dealer or ten the inquiry would only count as one if done within a certain time frame like a month. so dont worry about the different inquiries. there might me be alot showing up on your report if your car shopping, but in all reality it will only count as 1 inquiry. Good luck on your new car hunt!!!!!!!!!
