Any body have any idea what the tiers are for Nissan / What CB they pull? I need a goal to shoot for.
Oh yeah I live in Michigan
tier 1 700+
tier 2 660-699
tier 3 620-659
tier 4 600-619
Auto Finance Bureau Scores: determined from dealer's assigned state specific credit bureau.
forgot to add, that might change depending on whether the dealer is floored with NMAC or not. (possibly)
what does that mean floored? And if they are, are the tiers higher?
The tiers I posted are for Nissan dealers who are floorplanned with NMAC.
It could possibly be a bit different if they are not floorplanned with NMAC.
Dealers who are floorplanned with the captive always get preferential treatment.
I had around 650ish when I purchased hubby's car thru NMAC in October.
They were running the 1.9% special and I got approved at 4.0% !!!
This was my lowest APR EVER on a car! Oh.. I lived in IL then and they pulled TU for me. After looking at the paperwork - they only made $2300 on us - NICE!
Does anyone know if NMAC blacklists you if you include them in bankruptcy? I had a 36 mos lease that was up in 2000 that I had to IIB because it was joint with my then recently EX wife. She kept up the note and traded it in at least end, but for my credit's sake, it was included so I wouldnt have the responsibility if she didnt pay.
Anyone have any experience with NMAC and post bankruptcy?
FWIW, I was just approved with NMAC at their 1% financing offer (Tier 1).
The finance guy said they pulled TU which was 692.
However, I have NMAC inquiries on both TU and EQ. My EQ score was 756 (quite a big difference from TU score).
I am in OH.
I got a Tier 3 rating at a score around 570. (3% interest rate) They had a special going on if you fall under Tier 4 you can get the Tier 3 rate (which I got). I actually really was under Tier 4.
